Following the tremendous success of the previous two years, the WA chapter is proud to present the third annual 1-day seminar with topics around "WA Clean Energy Future".

This year’s event promises even more insightful and groundbreaking discussions, with an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers: Dean Sharafi, David Fyfe, Caroline Cherry — renowned leaders shaping the future of clean energy in Western Australia.

The seminar will kick off with a keynote session that will delve into the latest plans and visions for WA's energy landscape, offering a unique opportunity to hear directly from those at the forefront of the transition to a decarbonized future.

This year's seminar will continue to explore the challenges and solutions in transitioning WA's energy industry toward a sustainable future. Attendees will gain insights into advanced technical solutions for the state's energy systems and the development of a future-ready network. Key topics will include the integration of microgrids with minimal direct control, strategies to meet Net Zero requirements, and the latest in renewable energy management.

Key objectives to be discussed include:

  • Achieving high levels of renewable energy penetration
  • Ensuring grid stability
  • Designing and operating pre-planned storage systems and renewable energy initiatives driven by price and system operation controls

This in-person event will provide valuable networking opportunities, with corporate and group bookings available upon request.

Attendees will also enjoy morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea as part of the day's program.
